Taking back Sundayby *gomedia

Green Day, Madonna, and Red Hot Chili Peppers are all artists on the renowned Warner Brothers Record Label. In 2009, the label approached Go Media to create a t-shirt design for Taking Back Sunday, a world famous rock band from New York. The design was to be released in coordination with their latest album, “New Again”, and the record label wanted the shirt to feature imagery based on the band’s new single “Sink Into Me.”

The final design featured ape-like creature sinking his teeth into a banana. It was produced on eggplant v-neck shirts and purple crew neck shirts and sold on TakingBackSunday.com and HotTopic.com.

Looks great guys- it's such a random design to end up on from such an ambiguous brief- did you need to go through a lot of revisions to get here or was it straight shooting?

They usually don't do a lot of revisions, it's pretty much YAY or NAY. This one happened to be a YAY!
